When will the order ship?
Orders placed Monday-Friday will ship within 24 hours pending availability and credit verification. Orders received by 2pm on Friday will ship that day, pending availability and credit verification. Catriona MacKechnie will contact you with a follow-up email if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if we need additional identification provided for credit verification. We use UPS and Federal Express for delivery, and therefore are unable to deliver to APO/FPO addresses, as well as P.O. Boxes. We do not offer Saturday delivery.Delivery time does not include Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Same day delivery
Same day delivery is available by messenger service within Manhattan on Monday - Friday for orders received by 2pm.
International shipping
Catriona MacKechnie is happy to ship to 200 countries world wide by UPS.
International Shipping costs, methods and disclosure
International shipping charges, import duties and taxes will be charged to the customer. Such charges are based on several factors, including total price, the weight of the package, and its destination. Orders will be shipped through our international courier accounts and we will charge the cost to your credit card. Import duties and taxes will be billed directly to the customer's credit card.
Import duties and taxes are determined once a shipment reaches the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the customer. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be as they vary widely from country to country. Please contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Catriona MacKechnie, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
If you decide to refuse any shipments from Catriona MacKechnie, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Catriona MacKechnie. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international Customers and Customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as description, to our international carriers, and this information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.
Return Policy
We hope you are happy with your purchase. If however you would like to exchange or return your purchase, please carefully follow the directions as noted. Merchandise purchased from our web site only can be returned for exchange, store credit or full refund for items that have not been worn, altered or washed, and with all tags attached. Underwear must be tried on over customers own. Returns must be shipped within 7 days of receipt. The gift box and pouch must be included. Returns received after that time will be accepted at Catriona MacKechnie's discretion and for store credit only. Late returns that are not accepted will be returned to customer at customer's expense.
Please note that shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for lost returned merchandise. We therefore suggest that items are shipped by registered mail. Items purchase 2 weeks prior to Christmas or Valentines Day may be returned within 7 days of said holiday. Special orders, custom items and candles are final sale and may not be returned.
All sale merchandise at a 50% discount or greater are final sale and may not be returned. All sale merchandise at a 51% discount or less may be returned for exchange or store credit only. Above policies are unique to sales from www.catrionamackechnie.com. Returned merchandise will be processed within 2 days of receipt, excluding holidays.

Securely pack and seal the return merchandise and invoice in an appropriate shipping box or envelope, and send back to us using an insured service to the above address. (This will provide you with recourse on your package, as we cannot accept responsibility for packages that we do not ship ourselves). Merchandise must be returned with the original gift box and pouch.
How will my shipment arrive?
Every order will arrive beautiful wrapped in Catriona MacKechnie packaging. Items not sent in a gift box will come in a black, reusable pouch, wrapped in tissue with a ribbon. Please note: this does not include oversized items which to not fit in the pouches or boxes.
